A Nostalgia Poem by Palitha Ranatunge

A Nostalgia

A bird unseen and unknown
At a dawn hidden somewhere
Beneath a lusty green of a nearby
Tree kingdom,
Sang a song that was the best I heard
Rich in melody and with a lowest tone,

Every day since then
I wake up early and sat at the bed
Waiting for that call,
But now many a summers have gone
Never I have heard of it.

Well, may be it was a sweetest
Dream that I was offered.
