A Pansy School Room Poem by Marilyn Lott

A Pansy School Room

Little pansies sitting in their seats
Looking at the teacher
Waiting for instructions, of course
Very attentive, there's not a stir.

I do notice a couple are bothered
By something else in the room
Perhaps they are waiting
Perhaps the bell will be ringing soon.

I love to see my pansies like this
Their sweet faces when they bloom
Looking for all the world like
Sweet pansies in their school room.
