December 27,2007
Never believing what could be
true, living a lie on a warm
December’s day we walked along
a narrow way. Passing young
lovers as they strolled in their
carless play, trying to remember
when we where once that way.
Lazy clouds drifting over head,
the light and shadows dancing
ahead, as we continued along our
way unaware that this day would
soon end. Apart from ourselves
we tried to again believe, but not
even love could melt our hearts
on that warm December day.
Knowing nothing inside of me
for you now remains I am lost
inside as I turn and walk away.
