A Playhouse Tree Poem by Marilyn Lott

A Playhouse Tree

"Cousin It" I call this tree
Though Fig Tree is its name
If I'd had this tree as a kid
I would not have been the same.

You can see an open door
It is spacious too inside
I would take my little chairs
My dishes and dollies too and hide.

What fun I would have had
My ideas would explode
It would have been my joy
To have this sweet- tree abode.
