A Poem For My Friend Antonio.
Antonio, you have achieved
A great deal in life;
I have known you do three things:
Smile,
Shake hands,
And hold good conversation;
The moon, though beautiful,
Cannot do these things;
Nor can a flower,
Despite its tremedous beauty:
Therefore,
You have surpassed,
And gone beyond
The moon and flowers in beauty -
In your case, handsomeness -
Is that not sufficiently great achievement?
