A Poet's Day Poem by Hebert Logerie

A Poet's Day

Rating: 5.0

What did I do today?
I've done a lot of things
I went to the garden where I picked some roses
And I wrote a few poems. No trouble
In the end, I cannot recap
Exactly what I accomplished
The sun was present all day
No thunder! No rain!
Oh! I forgot; this morning, I walked around
The birds were jovial to see me
I finally killed the insect in the closet
Now, I will have my peace for eternity
I'm going back to my cottage
Because outside, there are thunderclaps
Good night all
Swallow your coughs!
