A Poet's Life.
Ah,
A poet's life!
When all around you
Seems to crumble
And wane
Diminish and become
Insane,
There's always Poetry
To run to,
Like the open arms
Of a lover
That will always
Embrace
Your hidden Love
Or Pain.
A wonderful life indeed! What a great analogy. We are blessed that we have Poetry on our side, always there in our lowest lows.
