A Poets Words

A friend just spoke
With words so still
My inner soul
Could hardly feel
Their inner strength
With unknown length
My heart beat fast
But didn’t last
How could one hear
And not shed a tear
At the poetic flair
That graced the air

Poem of the Day

poet George Gordon Byron

So we'll go no more a-roving
So late into the night,
Though the heart still be as loving,
And the moon still be as bright.
