O! God in Heaven
To you I pray
That I should always be gay
On each and every day!

God, I do not crave for position
But grant me always a cheerful disposition

God, I do not wish for wealth
But let me enjoy the best of health.

God, I do not hope for fame
But that goodness be synonymous to my name

God, I do not want popularity
But that I shall always be able to help others
to the best of my ability.

God, what I love is always laughter
And a pure, unblemished character!
