A Prayer
God the light from above maybe seem bright
and my love for her keeps my will to fight.
Still down here, darkness is equally unforgiving
so please send me an angel for me to keep on living.
To be in your presence forever is my goal
but to be with her is what I long for.
I will never be to you, faithless
so please help me find someone to cherish.
The sacrifice you've made, I will never forget
but a heart I need to treasure on to my death.
Your words and your teachings, I trust and follow
so please strengthen my heart from any sorrow.
God, my fate I leave in your hands.
But my love, willingly surrendered for hers.
And with your guiding spirit never will I stray
so please give me a chance to meet her today.

No, I don't think god will help you find a new god. If I was god, I would send you someone who you would immediately take a liking for, and find out later that she is so aweful that you tighten your bonds with god. Because then I would win, and I don't think that god intends to lose. Of course, I don't think that there is a god listening to you.
