A Prisoner Poem by Bieze Josphat

A Prisoner

Rating: 5.0

A prisoner I am
In your dungeon of love
I raise an alarm
Oh! What a vain strive!

A housefly I am
In your cobweb of love.
Stuck on you
Like lips and bum.

Oh, a love-slave
With wide lifeless eyes
And retreatingfist
Staggers into doomed days
Having hopeless hope
Because I'm at
The end of the rope.
But, I'll tie a knot,
Write this note
Before I let go.

Extremely beautiful expression of love. True lovers are deemed prisoners. Thank you so much for sharing.
