A bear was a bera
and a boar was a bear
in England way back when;
a castrated boar was a bearg.
A castrated sheep, back then,
was neither a ramg nor a romg;
one was, and still is, a wether.
A purse back then was a purs;
there was no 'a' in 'leather'.
