A Response To Your Letters Poem by A Waltz For Zizi

A Response To Your Letters

Your letters change so little.
I hoped that if you know me
who I was and what I'm planing with my life
soon they would stop arriving at my door.
I'm not saying I want you to stop
sending me these little pieces of paper
but seeing your eyes above me
gives me hope, and hope
is a dangerous thing
in the hands of a man
that has been broken so many times.
Can't you find anyone
more worthy of you?
You can't really be
in love with me.
So far all I did was
just walk around here
underneath your fingers
in the breath of your mouth
from one page to the next
almost begging for your words.
The most I can do from here
is kiss the tip of your fingers
and hope you will have closed your eyes
even for a second to allow me
the childish insanity of loving
someone that I not even touched,
as I might not have the courage
to ask you If I ever meet you.
But still you should not hope
to meet me.

Wow a unique love poem written in an appealing winsome style. Love that seems unreachable but maybe not. Thumbs up. Pls do review my lates poem too.
