A River Said To The Rock Poem by Aniruddha Pathak

A River Said To The Rock

Rating: 5.0

Gravity as goes
I go, pushing none my flows,
To follow Nature,
Not stature, is my nature,
To resist is waste.
___________________________________________
The rock had mocked at the river and blocked her way. But she quietly took a detour around the rock and went ahead. The rock, now reduced to sandy grains, recalled what the river had said many years back, but alas it was too late.

I loved this poem and the brilliant thoughts that it imparted. A clever write. To my Poem List.

Thank you so much dear poet RM, for the appreciation. You know, it was a three line poem, then made it into five, and added Poet; s Note. Brevity is always good, but sometimes a few more words are necessary to impart some clarity.

A beautiful Senryu is brilliantly executed on nature and river. Thanks for sharing.
