A Road Poem by Tina P..

A Road

Rating: 5.0

walking down the road
coming to an intersection
many choices to take
only one is best for you
so tempting is the easy
frightening is the most difficult
no longer able to continue the path you're on
a deciscion to be made

Your home, full of frustration
Your room, an oasis
Sleeping away the pain and anger
Drifting into space

Finally awake and ready
taking on the day with all of its conflicts
able to choose
and able to be free

whats done is done
just left here cleaning up the mess
after all the organization is completed
a tornado of confusion appears

you- constantely defeated
the day is over but it will start all again when you awaken
