A Scattering Of Raindrop Words Poem by Terence George Craddock

A Scattering Of Raindrop Words

Rating: 5.0

in the beginning the poet writes
a scattering of raindrop words
like a sprinkling of dew on a single
dark red rose bathed in moonlight

in time the few words become
blessing summer shower releasing
a little heat from burning hot day
time passes poet grows the poet

is writing river words not rivers of words
the difference is huge time passes the poet
time writes river words upon patient waiting

empty pages; time passes the poet is writing
rivers of words now needs books to contain
all the ideas rivers of ideas written the poet

writes river of words upon patiently waiting
time empty diverse earth landscape pages

'the poet writes river words' is a small portion
of the words in the outflow river being written

which ties in with the poet wanders
through ripe words the poet is writing
a small portion of flowing river ideas

poet thinks thoughts
free falling through
wind mind clouds...

Thank you. The other poem inspired by the poem 'Thoughts Free Falling Through Wind Mind Clouds', was 'I Am The Heart Of The Sky I Cry The Tears' but I did not expect they would be liked.

Thank you. It is an unusual poem, waiting over 6 years to be written after writing decades of words.
