A Senior's Sorrow Poem by Jade Huang

A Senior's Sorrow

A Senior's Sorrow

I didn't know
When
My name was changed
into 'Looking For'.

It was because I was always
looking for the glasses
while I wore it;

Looking for the keys
which I just took out from the purse.

Looking for my cell phone
I had to use home phone;

I just stepped to the kitchen
From my bedroom,
I had to ask myself:
'I came here what for? '

Dear friend.
Believe or not,
I really, really
couldn't remember
what did I say,
even it happened yesterday.

And more, and more...
