A September Morn Poem by Saroj Padhi

A September Morn

Rating: 5.0

Morning comes here
like a moist dream wrapped in dew
dripping drops of honey from
tips of leaves basking in sun's hue,

my Love sleeps like a tired flower
after the night's suck of nectar,
now away from the buzz of bee
when butterflies roll out of caterpillar,

to dance on rays aglow with sky's love
drenched in gregarious clouds'
nestling demeanor, without any care
for the Covid fever that enshrouds,

let me rise like smokes coiling up
from eaves of the folk sipping red tea
to kiss the happiness writ on eyebrows
of earth, awake to moments of glee.

Beautiful, expressive quatrains expresses " moments of glee" upon awakening. Very, very nice, Saroj.
