With the small goats
Into her lap
Talking with
At her mud-built
Country home doorway,
A shepherd girl,
An Indian shepherd girl
Talking with the goats,
Small goats
Keeping
Into her lap
With so much affection and love
Caressing and cajoling
Sharing the heart-matter.
