I will put a penny in my pocket
Every time she visits me
A beautiful Baby Angel
With full white majestic wings

She visits those she loves
Smiling from Heaven up above
Wrapping her love around us
Reassuring us she is here

She knows how sad we are
Living without her every day
As she comforts each one of us
In her own unique and special way

Such love and comfort she has found
In God's loving gracious skies
Not wanting for anything
Just spreading her loving joy

Understanding that she left
Knowing how our hearts still break
As she smiles so sweetly
While she lightly kisses our cheek

Every lady bug and butterfly
Are just signs from only her
She knows that we notice
These signals that she sends

So I will place a shiny penny
In my pocket every time
Because I know she is with us
Every moment throughout our lives
