A Shoulder To Cry On Poem by Elizabeth Wilson

A Shoulder To Cry On

Rating: 5.0

Come cry on my shoulder baby
Let me be the one who wipes the tears away
Open up and let it out
I know the pain you’re going through
When it seems like no one understands you
I’ll be the one to tell you it’s gunna be ok
Don’t be strong for me
For a change, I can be that for you
If you only knew that someone loves you like I do

There’s no denying that what you feel is real
But don’t loose heart cuz I’ll be here beside you
Now rest your head upon my lap
And cry the way you need to
You will always have me as your haven
So take my hand and grip it tight
This is a battle you’ll have to fight
Just let it out and always know
That no matter what, I’ll never let you go
