Inside I am broken- yet I still
thank God for you each day
Tomorrow isn't promised,
so have fun along the way
Every day I make it without
a single moment with you,
Is a struggle on its own, for me,
Just to see it through
Today I will not think about you.
I will not miss you at all.
I won't look at my phone or text,
Or wait for you to NOT CALL
A single moment of happy will last
my whole life through
I'll always have my memories & thank God
for the ones with you.
Don't be sad because it's done now,
remember we had a good time.
A single moment of happy with me
will never cost you a dime.
It's too hard for me to want you,
knowing this isn't where you want to be.
Leave if you must, you'll miss 'us'
I'll be okay broken- and you'll be free.
