A Small Tub Poem by Hans Raj Sharma

A Small Tub

Rating: 3.5

Whilst time keeps running at its pace
Man's making the whole humanity halt
Locking down entire mankind in homes-
Pups forcibly getting into lockdown in a tub.
Nature keeps moving on as per its routine
Justifying all its omissions or commissions
Sun accompanied by moon and stars in sky-
Keeping on shining brighter than ever before
Rising in the East and setting in the West...
Man is getting uneasy by his own misdeeds-
Without learning any lesson from his rich past
Presently, behaving not well, up to the mark...
Caring or bothering not much about the future-
Nature coming forward to rescue all living beings
Including with the wild world and fauna and flora-
Mindfully unmindful about devastation by Covid-19
Six pups forcibly getting into lockdown in a small tub!
