A Sonnet For A Delightful Read Poem by Walterrean Salley

A Sonnet For A Delightful Read

Rating: 4.0

</>I recently read "Living Cameos"—
Introducing me to folks I didn't know.
Each was smart, talented and married,
But, still, a heavy cross they carried.
Triumphant by amazing grace,
They stared their challenges in the face.
Some still live, and some are gone—
Leaving loved ones to carry on.

The more I read, the more I learned.
My heart is filled with such concern
For the 'outcome' of each's fate,
And their status up-to-date.
A gem, I found such book to be;
'Twas a delightful read for me.
