A Sophisticated Place Poem by Diplove gautam

A Sophisticated Place

Everything is still and rest,
Sweat all over the chest,
Ants are searching their way,
Birds are chirping in joy.

Roads are flaming, Maize gardens,
Scorching sun leaves gently blown,
Seems like a paused motive,
Waiting someone to arrive and play.

Birds fly quick, Washings dried,
Lives of people like fried,
Looking a tree, big enough
To rest for a day on May.

Banana trees, nearby a hut,
An old woman lives moaning,
Coughing fed up living miserably.
Butterfly, dove and flies.

Spider webs on the walls, forests,
Tall trees, I wait to see,
Stuffs rarely seen before so far,
Because I guess I never waited.
