A Spore Poem by Hundeep Kaur

A Spore

Rating: 5.0

When i thought It was time to blossom,
Every realm told me there was no such reason,
I shut down and built a wall,
Became a spore and resisted my fall.

Then again came a sunny time
Everything was so perfectly fine
This time i was determined, no looking back, no stopping.

From the root i heard a faint cry,
I realized there was THAT FIRST STUPENDOUS bud that was about to dry,
Its sustenance was tried as the possible best,
But it could not go past the time's test,
I could feel the rush, the pain, the plead, the bleed,
But all we could do was to see the destined.

Now comes the turn on the SECOND bud,
Its turn to flower Bright,
Its turn to return the pride.

But i know i am not as perfect a bud,
i am JUST not the pride,
I know the fate of my life,
I am not the rose,
And who would want a marigold with thorns?

If there is no prosperous future,
I don't want to care about the rules of nature,
I want to say a ne
But still cannot find a Way...
