A Star After Star Poem by Kumbirai Jumo

A Star After Star

Formed from a dust of star.
The closest thing to the
heavens. An energy born from destrution. No longer a force of pain. Her movements in space are the movements of a star seeking a place amoungst the emptiness of space. Light year after light year, away from a place she once knew.

A star more of healing and amazment. A star reborn
to be adorn. As with life and light.

Some stars within her reach. Gather amoungst one another and seek to found a proposal. So that she may choose to remain. With the hope they may be drawn into her light. A light that never dims.

Other stars gather and within themselves is nothing, but destruction. Wishing for all the universe to gaze apon them and bare witness their grace. Sought to unite and claim the title of the brightest. Still she continued on without fear.

A heart beat within space. A heart beat of creation. As she draw closer to the place within deep space. She realised a light filled with a peaceful knowledge more than her cause. Lay stationed in the placed witìn the universe she sought.
