A Star Within A Star Poem by Michael Peters

A Star Within A Star

'This is neither beginning nor the end'
- and then he collapsed.
Why should we think of him as the rest?
He was never possessed.

Do not let this chunk of meat
On Your account to have a treat,
Disturb You through Your rest,
Be the reason of broken footsteps.
