A Stolen Moment From A Fairytale

Rating: 3.0

A bus ride so long, dark and cold.
He sits beside me and I shiver.
Leaning my head on his shoulder, we sat.
At the cold seat of the moving bus.

He points at the stars claiming they were frozen fireworks.
He held my hand so lovingly as I remember.
He stroked my hair the way a lover should.
He put his arms around me protectively and strong.

I find the spot perfectly on his shoulder.
I held his hand feeling the shiver.
I glow with love hidden from the dark.
I have never felt this tingle of love.

Yet I still hurts me, even as the old long songs sang.
Because I knew this was not the same when the lights come
A stolen moment from a fairytale I never expected
He didn't feel the same as I did.

I hate myself from letting myself fall
For I could never pick up the pieces
I fell for him knowing that after it all
It happened because she wasn't there at all.

A stolen moment from their fairytale
I had to return it all.
