A Story Of A Girl Poem by Addison Walker

A Story Of A Girl

A girl
All alone in this dark empty world
No one can know, no one would guess
What goes through her head
They couldn’t handle it
Will she be here, will she be gone
Taken by the craters of black,
Darkness
Abstraction of crazy
Her mind never quitting
Daily reminders of trauma
Traumatization
Dramatization, drama
Over & over
Daily, weekly, monthly
So weak, how does she do that
To herself, her soul
Everything she believes in
In one, out the other
Down the drain
Forever lost
Equilibrium gone
One pill, two pill, three pill
DEAD, only if she’s lucky
No, she has no luck
Ever, eternal darkness
Shadows her every move
Her every motive
All she ever wanted
Was to be wanted, needed, loved, held
Perfection, it will never come
Finding new flaws
On a regular basis
Hating, fighting, anger
Surrounding her
Will it happen tonight
In the morning?
Or just naturally
Did she find the light
What? Who?
Him. Now.
Amazing, perfection to the fullest
He is all she needed
A knight in shining armor
Without knowing
He. Saved.Her.Life.
