A Stranger Poem by Liza Mahlubi

A Stranger

Rating: 4.5

I fell inlove with a stranger
Can I call it love?
But yes it was a stranger that I gave my time to
How did it all start was simple
Yet my heart aches for him
Not once have I been blessed with his presence
Not once has I seen the location of his ugly scar
nor do I know the colour of his eyes
I have never felt the warmth of his embrace
Nor the love in his tender arms
Yet he is deeply missed
Each night I lie in bed
Dreaming of the day when
I will be able to fall in his arms
Feel the softness of his skin
Taste the kiss of his lips
I can't get him off my mind
Oh my I have a crush on a stranger
