A Sweet Little Mushroom Poem by Marilyn Lott

A Sweet Little Mushroom

He was just a little mushroom
He didn't mean no harm
Residing on the mossy forest floor
With all his mushroom charms.

"I wonder if I'll be picked today
For a delicious mushroom stew? "
He wished so with all his heart
If you were he then, wouldn't you?

About that time an adorable little frog
Came hopping happily along
Into the air rather a bit off-key
He was singing a Froggy song.

The two fastly became good friends
Chased away any kind of doom
When Froggy came into the world
Of a sweet little tasty mushroom!
