I think i hear the beauty of life calling me
as I look for my love
which drifts in the wind
while the sanctity of romance is treasured
how sacred is the time spent between lovers?
what price can be placed on a gentle kiss?
a simple wish
the holding of hands
a walk in the sands of time
bodies tangle, and then slowly unwind
how many take for granted
the simplicity of it all?
the rapture that captures it all
will suddenly disappear
with souls left in tears
missing a simple whisper
a smile, or a embrace
left searching endlessly
for a love that will replace
romantic visions of yesterday
forgotten in your masquerade
that left you empty, yet filled with lonliness
is the reality that love is not a game
chances are
life will never be the same
