A Teardropp Touched A Rose Poem by Alan White

A Teardropp Touched A Rose

Rating: 5.0

I knelt beside her grave that day;
That day when soul and body parted.
Though finer part took flight, they say,
Tis here I stare, now broken hearted.
I loved her more than words could tell,
But words were few, my sad repose.
My head now bowed, this living hell…
As my teardropp touched a rose.

Beautiful and sad, Alan. I see PH has not been able to eliminate that 'p' bug... but it does not detract from the content. Fantastic first submission - hope to see more... take care. Joey xx
