A Teenagers Life Poem by Dayna Verhulst

A Teenagers Life

Rating: 5.0

To tell you the truth our life sucks
We work our butts off to earn a couple bucks.
Being a teenager ain't so great
we try so hard to look good on a date
and then the guy turns around and yells their hate,
how they never wanted to go on this date.
Then you are enemies it always seems
but somehow they always get in your dreams.

Teenagers lives really suck
its really hard to get some luck.
We all wish someone would give a.....
We all live and we all die
we just try to get by on the little bit of life we got.
When our life is all messed up we just ask for a little luck.

A teenagers life is like a seed
that grows into a beautiful tree
that reaches its branches to the sun
and we all have a little fun
and then the rainy skies come again
and we hide from the rain
in the branches of the tree we grew
and hope someday to come back to you
cause the summers over and we're thorough

clear blue skys and sun drenched skin
you hope to come back to him
but he's gone and you are too
no matter what you do
he's moved on and so should you.

life sucks and thats the truth
but today we live the life we got
and some guys may say they think your hot
but true love's not that easy to get
so take care of your heart and never cry
cause of some stupid guy.
I write this down so we can say damn its a teenage life today.

(I just won a teen talent show by reading this poem)

I'm a teenager and was just browsing for poems that sum up the good and bad about a teenage life. This is great, my favorite by far! Keep up the great work.
