Beautiful Friendship
Those sweet words,
They brighten even the foggiest of days
Hopeful sincerity
With your
Wonderful smile?
Comforting hugs?
What means the most?
I cannot decide.
A kiss on my nose, ever so light
Is that the plan?
Talking all night
About nothing really
My weary eyes
They drift towards sleep
But I stay up a moment longer
Just to hear your voice
Lovely.
And during bad days
You offer a smile,
A shoulder to dry my tears
All the small things
They mean so much
Of that
I am, and always will be
Sure.
