A Trophy In Your Showcase Poem by Pradip Chattopadhyay

A Trophy In Your Showcase

Behind the dusty glass,
My corpse from that halcyon moment
Stands mockingly frozen,
A relic of your glory
That began and ended my story.
I lived just in that moment
Pride glowed on your face,
And died a trophy in your showcase!
