A Troubled Reality Poem by Bridget Gabrielle

A Troubled Reality

I don't want to be here

I know there's something better

Same old thing day after day

Traveling on the same routes

Listening to Drake talking about how he forgot to call someone on their birthday...

Getting to the point where I don't care

Is this normal?

Oh yeah! That's right, there isn't a definition of normal

Everyday feels like a cloudy day

Where's the sun?

What about the golden moments in life everyone speaks about?

This life feels like a game, and I'm everyone else's cheerleader

Where's my team? This life only feels like a bad dream

Someone wake me up

Things used to be so much better

All I can say is, this is not my life. I want out.....Now! !

Can anyone wake me up out of this wretched nightmare?
