A True Individual Poem by Francis Duggan

A True Individual

You may not drive in an expensive motor car
Or on the ladder of success not have climbed very far
But you earn your living in the honest way
And you work hard for your every take home pay
You are never at parties where big egos meet
Where for attention with each other they do compete
Your own praises you are never known for to sing
You just live in your own way and do your own thing
You are never part of the big football crowd
With thousands of fans for their team shouting loud
To be one of a tribe you will never be known
You are so very much a man of your own
You drink on your own in the local public bar
A true individual is what you are.

A true individual is what you are. True individuality's perception is brilliantly penned.
