A Unexpected Disaster Poem by anthony hughes

A Unexpected Disaster

It was a cold night
walking past the bushes it gave me a fright
as the cold air hits my face
a storm was comeing in like a race
as i get to the end of lane
my face starts to tingle in pain
as i get into my house
everything is silent like mouse
as i go sit down by the fire
the flames start to burn and get higher
as the warmth surronds me
out the window i see
is a waveing tree
as it futters in the wind
i see a flash
all^s i hear is a big crash
and there it was gone my family tree.
