A Valentine's Poem Poem by Daya Nandan

A Valentine's Poem

Rating: 5.0

My dear tinder match so alluring and sweet,
Whom I shall give chocolates to the day we meet,
A surprise flavor of chocolate awaits your gentle smile,
A lasting flavor that will truly be worthwhile,

An awaited meeting, I simply cannot wait,
A movie night? Maybe a dinner date?
I await your kiss to be planted on my face,
So we can make a new memory in a different time and place,

But please do not bring apples, not that horrid fruit,
Not the doctor's kryptonite that will cut short my pursuit,
No apples please, no apples at all,
For your apples will cause my greatest fall,

But for now I have just a question to ask,
Under our starry sky blanketed by a velvet mask,
Will you be my valentine for this special day?
And now I shall await the words your beautiful self will say

A beautiful love poem with nice flow and rhyme. Love does not need any specified conditions to happen and spread. Liked it. A perfect poem for this valentine.10+++
