A Victim Of Your Love Poem by JOHN ICHARIAH

A Victim Of Your Love

Rating: 5.0

For not in an instance,
Have I been a victim of circumstance
I can't say it's my umpteenth time,
Leave alone my initial crime-
For my emotions defy logic,
Surpasses any type of magic.

Out of the ordinary,
Only one thing makes me stationary-
The thought of your love,
Raises my heart rate beyond and above-

Keeping in mind,
Never to look behind
Where solitude resides;
And loneliness stands beside-

Where I used to be,
Where it stung like a bee-
Where I befriended misery;
And made agony my luxury.

None other to thank,
After God you second the rank
You gave me your heart,
With it I like to flirt.

My mission is to keep you gay;
My vision reminds me everyday
I want to keep you satisfied,
For in your heart I want to be magnified-

None other to matter,
None our love to shutter-
Only you to flatter,
Keep your psyche smooth as butter.

Take away your frustrations,
Give you sensual satisfaction-
For what I feel,
I assure you it's real
And for none other;
Will I dare make a bother! !
