A Violet Bougainvillea Tree Saw I In Bloom Poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

A Violet Bougainvillea Tree Saw I In Bloom

It was January
When I saw the bougainvillea tree
In full bloom
Crowned with blooms
Looking so lovely
As paper flowers
Cut and made from paper
As handicraft work
Showing the handiwork
Done so magically,
The violet, violet bougainvilleas,
Decorating the tree
As sparkling decoration bulbs
Presenting a variety of colours,
A riot of
Looking so lovely and charming
Catching our fancies,
Bougainvilleas,
Violet bougainvilleas
In full bloom
Telling of the herald of spring,
Yet to come.
