A Virtue Or A Sin Poem by Ali Ahmed

A Virtue Or A Sin

Rating: 5.0

Sleepless nights and the joyless days
Where I have been stuck in an unsolved maze?

Can’t find the right way out
Seems like ma life is a doubt

Would I have been so bad with someone?
And taking exams for the sins I have done

Is it like that? sometimes I think
And should have known of that definite wink

Shadows of my sins will always be following
Definite fallouts of my very own doings

Then why blame others for my own mistakes
Crafting the hurdles in my very retakes

But GOD, if sincerity is a major sin
Then I love to be one of its loveliest kin

Confused a lot in making the right decision
Virtues are those, or a road to perdition

Tired of being bearing this pain
Give me a shower of blessing’s rain

Let me be free GOD
Let me be free………! ! !

The first few lines of rhyme were only fair, but the last few lines were fantastic. I would like to see some of the early lines redone. However, this is still a fine poem and it has a very good ending. Which, is very important. GW62
