A Vision Of An Angel Poem by Anthony Raymond

A Vision Of An Angel

Rating: 3.5

As the children sat in the Father's home
A lovely lady walked through the door
They've never seen this woman before
At that moment, their eyes were opened

She found her way to the front row pew
Quickly on her knees to adore the Lord
The young girls looked on in admiration
The young boys saw a vision of an angel

If I could only read their youthful minds
Seeing the looks on many of their faces
We never know the source of inspiration
That the Lord allows in various places

To these inner city youth, a ray of hope
A model of faith and humility displayed
She never realized those youthful eyes
Saw a vision of an angel as she prayed

The youthful eyes are always watching
Seeing our every move and reaction too
If we only could see through their eyes
A vision of an angel in me and in you
