A Vote For Cuddling Poem by Long Tooth

Some folk like to talk, but my vote is for cuddling,
At work or at leisure, a cuddle is great,
When emotions are soaked through, it's still a good kindling,
Can get a fire going where Love has no weight!

No lapse of your rights or a need for convergence
A cuddle gives notice, "My friend welcome home!
A more humane acceptance of rights to divergence,
True meaning expressed when one utters, "Shalom! "

If you love someone, please I beg, "Hug them now! " sir,
Who waits for a verdict does not serve God's ends
For God's Grace is His Justice, "forgiveness of sinner! "
By blessing its enemies, wisdom finds friends!
