A Walk In The Lap Of Nature Poem by Setaluri Padmavathi

A Walk In The Lap Of Nature

A walk in lap of nature
I wandered to the places that are best
since they make me completely cherish;
found a better place to slowly rest
among the creatures around that flourish.
The early sunrise painted the sky pink
the lovely moon departed pale;
the sea appeared as blue as the sky
the day light looked as bright as a new pin.
The men aimed at finding poles
then hurried in selecting tools;
sighed at the sea having many goals
tried to acquire so many rules.
The beautiful and the dreadful sea
sheltered many wonderful creatures;
altered the colours that I see,
and offered men so many features.
