A Want Worth A Want Poem by Alvin Parkinson

A Want Worth A Want

Rating: 5.0

A trail, in the hail
Petition is to prevail, for the fail
Hope to bring the best, in my success
And excel, through the nefarious nails
I stay away, from the deprave
Hoping my aid, will bring waves
Of a thing, that’s worth to sing
Lets bring a well day, in my decay
I want anointing oil, in my soil
One that won’t spoil, but boil
A defeat, to the beast
As the boil, strangles like a coil
Evils strong, but not for long
That’s what I want on, my future song
I want something great, which will abdicate hate
And hope it goes on, on and on
I wish for what I strive, won’t collide
What I unite, won’t divide
What I create, will not break
As one writes, and heart recites
Wish me well, as I go through hell
Hope it’s a tale, that’s within to tell
Hope what I bring, is worth to sing
So please wish me well, and support me to excel
