A Warrior I Was Born Poem by Nalini Jyotsana Chaturvedi

A Warrior I Was Born

Sundown
To new dawn
I have to
Just Go on
Not dragging
My feet
With confidence
Complete
As I take
My long strides
Over mountains
And
Treacherous tides

In my heart
sadness confines
You would think
It is a joyride
My smile
Is my pride
All my failures
It surely hides
And I just
Go on
A warrior
I was born
