I see no one I love, I see no friend around,
All I see is deceptive souls and devious minds
A whiff of poison in the air
I see flowers bleeding
I wonder why the nightingales don't sing anymore
Polluted hearts filled with acrimony
Resentment deeply embedded in the soul
Enmity in the name of friendship
What has come of loyalty?
What has happened to the sunshine?
How did the kindness end?
All that is left within is rancour
The loyalty buried deep in the dearth
Living life tenaciously with treachery in heart
With layers of dust covering the conscience
The seeds of betrayal root in my heart
I hope someone erase the pain of wile
Maybe someday someone will dig up the treasure
From deep within my heart
And share it with another lonely soul
May the gems of loyalty sparkle again.
May the breeze of goodness travel again.

"May the gems of loyalty sparkle again. May the breeze of goodness travel again." I'm glad the poison was not fatal!
A poignant poem! I will revisit with a meticulous review.
Hi Aaarzoo, Wafaa ke badle bewafaee is the order of our times! Beautiful poem reflecting human nature engulfed in bigotry!
You are a great genius Aarzoo. you have a great way through your words and a deep insight about life, experience and your desires and wishes. every aspect of life that we come across can be found in your poems.
Oh! Deeply embedded; but, out there someone cares for you. Nice work.
